Captains Day

Captains from across the Sheffield & District Padel League are meeting at Padel Bonito on Sunday 8 November

Captains Day

5:00pm: Info session

We start with a briefing for captains and players, with time for questions. We'll cover:

• Match night: 3 pairs play at the same time on 3 courts. Division 1 matches are best of three sets in a 2-hour booking. Every other division plays two sets in a 90-minute booking, with a 10-point match tie-break at one set all. The star point applies at the third deuce.

• Results and points: 1 point per match won, plus a bonus point for winning the fixture. A 3–0 win earns 4 points, 2–1 earns 3, a 1–2 loss earns 1 and 0–3 earns none. The winning captain enters the result on the Scoring Hub within 24 hours, and we'll show you how, live.

• Rearranging fixtures: contact the other captain at least 7 days before the original date. Rearranged fixtures must be played by Friday 19 March 2027.

• Who can play: squads, and the rules on playing for more than one team.

• Promotion, relegation and play-offs: how teams move between divisions. The play-offs are on Sunday 11 April 2027.

Then: padel, pizza and a drink

Ability-based Mexicanos across all 10 courts, so you play with people from other clubs. There's pizza, with vegetarian, gluten-free and other dietary options, and a drink and a chat afterwards.

Before the season starts: the full rules and fixtures are on the Scoring Hub https://padel-score-hub.lovable.app. For updates, follow us on Instagram at @sheffpadelleague.
